This winter season, EDGEhomes is hosting our first annual coat drive! We’re enlisting the help of real estate brokerages, surrounding cities, local businesses, and members of our wonderful communities to collect coats for those in need.
We’ve teamed up with Volunteers of America Utah, Catholic Community Services of Utah, The Rescue Mission of Salt Lake, and The Road Home with the goal of collecting and donating thousands of coats.
To help make this coat drive more exciting, we’re segmenting all donations into different categories and giving away prizes to the top donors from each category!
If you don’t have coats to donate but still want to contribute, you can send a monetary donation to our Venmo account and we will purchase coats to donate on your behalf.
Please caption any Venmo donations “Coat Drive | [Community/City/Business/Brokerage Name]”
or if you are not affiliating with a particular group, “Coat Drive Donations”

If you do not live in an EDGEhomes community and/or do not work in a participating business, we would still love for you to participate in this year’s coat drive!
You may drop off donations at any of our model homes or at the EDGEhomes Office until December 11th!
If you would like to nominate your business/office to participate as a group and have a collections box in your office, please fill out our form using the button below!
To make donations on behalf of your community, please donate coats to the bins located in your nearest model home or sales center. The donation bins will be available in your community until December 11th!
The top donating EDGEhomes community will win a FREE food truck that will provide food to their whole neighborhood!
We have coordinated with many of the brokerages we work with to set up collection bins in your office. The bins will be available in your office until December 11th!
We’re giving away a prize to the brokerage who donates the highest total number of coats, and prizes to the 3 brokerages who average the most coat donations per employee.
Prizes for the winning brokerages include:
Highest Total Number of Donations: FREE digital billboard advertising for 2 weeks
First Place: FREE digital billboard advertising for 2 weeks
Second Place: FREE digital billboard advertising for 1 week
Third Place: FREE digital billboard advertising for 3 days

Some examples may include: highlight a realtor, feature a listing, showcase your brand, and more!

As a city employee, you can make donations on behalf of your city! If you would like to do so, please donate coats to the bins located in your city’s office building. The donation bins will be available to take donations until December 11th.
The top donating city will win a FREE food truck that will provide food for city employees at the city hall!
